Good to see contractors have fixed the war memorial at Powderham after it was damaged in a collision with a car over the Christmas break.
It’s the second time the memorial has been damaged in the last five or six years, from memory.
Boulders have again been placed in front of the memorial to protect it.
I have also been asking Devon County Council to take some action to reduce traffic speed along the Powderham road.
While there is a 20 mile speed limit in place – residents report traffic is often faster which is a concern when there are also cyclists and walkers on this road.
