I’m pleased to report that the damaged red road surface outside the shops in Exminster is to be repaired, writes local councillor Alan Connett.

Devon County Council highways has ordered the work, which will mean the road has to be closed for a day so the contractors can repair the surface.

I don’t yet have a date for when the work will be done…. but it has taken a few months of chasing
