The proposed new parking plans for part of Kenton will be advertised in the Express and Echo on Thursday (January 10).

Devon County Council is proposing some changes in response to concerns from local residents and after consultation in the area.

In summary, it is proposed that no parking will be allowed for short sections on Mamhead Road, opposite Pitt Hill, on the junction of Mamhead Road and Church Street, at the point of the Triangle, and at West Town/Higher Down.

The cemetery entrance for vehicles will also have a short double yellow line if the proposals are supported during the formal public consultation period.
