Highways engineers will be attending Kenton Parish Council next Tuesday (15th January) to show the proposals for improving safety on the A379, the main road through the village, at South Town.

Along with residents and the parish council, I have been supporting the local cocnerns about the road and am pleased the highways team have been able to prepare a potential scheme and bring it forward.

The meeting starts at 7pm in the committee room of the Victory Hall, reports local councillor Alan Connett.
