Good news for Exminster and Ide Primary schools.
Ide will get funding for a new classroom to be built while Exminster has been given the green light for the much needed four new classrooms to go ahead.
Work at Exminster could start this October and a decision on the planning application is expected next month (June).
Working together with the school Governors and head, along with xminster Parish Council we haveĀ persuaded Devon County Council to contirbute its share of the costs for the new classrooms.
The scheme will see the two old wooden classrooms replaced and additional classrooms built too, helping to meet the school’s need for space given the recent new housing developments in the village.
